With his Grizzly Adams beard, tie-dyed shirts and raw, emotional honesty, Rupert won a lot of hearts. Not a top-tier player (really, his only strategy was to hunt and forage), Rupert was a fan favorite, so much so that he wheedled America out of a million smackers.
